If you are like me, you love racing and everything that is speed. Ninety percent of the time the TV is on Speedvision. Supertouring, Formula1, Hot Import Nights coverage, Rally, you name it, I can't get enough of the stuff. I go to all of the car shows, read a lot of message boards, have the magazine subscriptions,and my wife, Teressa, now recognizes nice rims when she sees them. Sound familiar? I've owned a 48 Chevy Fleetline (still have it), a 1970 GTO convertible, a Mazda MX-6, and a 1998 VW GTI VR6 to name a few. Now that we have gone into business for ourselves, I drive a 1986 Plymouth Voyager Van with 300,000 plus miles on it! It's a REAL sleeper. But what the heck, I'm doing something I love! I used to play the guitar and jam with friends on the weekends to blow off steam, but I now find myself staring at my monitor... My name is Michael Dickman. I was born in 1970 and raised here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I've worked for several companies in South Florida after I graduated from college and was most recently a VP of Marketing for a very large bank, but after being laid off for the third time, I decided to start a business of my own. And what better field than to follow one of my strongest interests - cars. Not being real mechanically inclined, I decided to stay away from, well, installing turbo's for example. However, I am very creative and good with computers. What's the fit? Vehicle graphics! I can combine my love for automobiles with my creative side. Being in South Florida, I have also gotten into the boat market quite heavily and that's a blast to get really creative because of the "palette" size. You can do a lot with 40 feet! Teressa and I run the business. My brother, Jason, also helps us out with web design and programming. I also do some marketing consulting work on the side to help pay the bills (I don't want to drive the Voyager forever!). I've found the "sign business" is a great business, since it allows me to do something I love and work with customers that have the same interests as I do.
